The haircut was going great until the buzzer started to die. "just put some oil on it" Chris says. I do, and then continue to cut his hair...without the guard on! I didn't even notice there was a problem until I saw his white skin under the blade. Woops!!
Looking 17 with the braces and the buzz, but I'll take him! He's actually being sustained as YM president on Sunday...I guess he'll fit right in!

Oh my goodness! I was laughing so hard!!! I just gave Matt a hair cut last week and we did the exact same thing with it dying and Matt telling me to put some oil on it. Only difference is, I remembered to put the guard back on=) Sorry, that is seriously hilarious!!!
That is AWESOME. I had a similar incident with Stan's hair--except he actually WAS seventeen at the time. He hasn't allowed me to touch his hair since.
Congrats on the calling, Chris--putting you right to work, eh? Fun.
Looks great sis. When can I come over for my hair appointment. :) Can't wait to see you all. Good luck with your new calling Chris. You'll do great.
Nice one Kathleen, it reminds me of when Jason was at the academy and we did the home haircuts, I was always afraid I would do that. We sure miss you guys, hope all is well!
Love the Hansen's
That is classic. I love it! Chris looks like he is a good sport about it.
Good luck with the new calling. No one ever lets you guys just relax do they? Probably because you are both so good!
yep, he was a good sport...
Today in priesthood he was asked, "what's with the haircut". He told everyone (every guy in our ward) what I did. I had a few men ask if I would give them haircuts too...nice!
Emily-we miss you guys! Do you have a blog? How was the 4th parade? I miss Kaysville!
