Point No Point

that's the name of the light house (or beach?)
There is a beach (with real sand) north of us. We decided to make the trek for FHE last night. It was really fun to see the kids playing on the beach. Paul immediately said "wa wa" (water) when we pulled up. It was cute. He didn't actually go toward the water until he saw his strong dad throw a huge drift wood into it. Then Paul picked up the smallest stick on the beach and went walking towards the water. He stopped about 5 feet short and threw it. It didn't make it into the wa wa, but it was cute to see him want to be like his dad. Here's some pictures from our adventure.

This is after I tripped and fell flat on my head. I was swinging Anna around (picture above) when Chris yelled "stop". In the process of slowing down a spin on a beach, I tripped over my feet. I thought it was something urgent, but he just couldn't get the motor or something to work on the camera. It kind of hurt. You got to see Anna's face and hands. (click to enlarge) She doesn't like getting dirty.

Oh.. It still looked like a lot of fun even if you did get a closer look at the sand then you planned. You guys look like Seattleites already.

How fun! The beach is gorgeous! How far away from your house is it?
You wouldn't believe how much rain we've had here! It rained AGAIN today! Crazy! So we actually haven't seen our shadows recently either:)
